Language is mild to PG-13. But is there a teen party where there is lots of drugs and passionate kissing in the background. There is also a scene where the main character Cher gets robbed at gunpoint. (***NO BLOOD OR VIOLENCE***) So in my opinion it is not for younger kids.
The Movie is Rated R in the USA. In my opinion it might be rated R for Strong Horror Violence and Gore, Strong Language and Mild Nudity. In Australia at the DVD it is rated MA 15+ for Strong Horror Violence. Kids under the age of 15 should obviously watch it with a Parent or an Adult.
