Very great but not recommended for younger or innocent teens and childrenit. although it is a great movie there is a lot of violence, gore, and sex. while teens these days are exposed to stuff like this I would recommend keeping this movie away from innocent teens and children.
But at least reflecting on my own life, I didn't start REALLY grasping deeper thinking until I was around 15 in 10th grade. I found that many 15 year olds I talked to could also talk and understand such topics. So if you ask me, I think 15 is a good minimum age to FULLY appreciate what Midnight Gospel has to offer.
You also see characters you like and feel warmth toward commit violence. Lots of domestic violence also (Connie and Carlo). For context, I'm normally pretty mellow about movie violence but the violence in The Godfather is not OK for kids.
