For the world of Marvel comics, Venom can bond with anyone. In addition to bonding with humans and other sentient beings all over the galaxy, Venom has already bonded with some pretty curious choices in the comics. Old Man Hawkeye sees him bond with a dinosaur.
Replication: After his first encounter with Spider-Man, Venom can replicate the Symbiote and attach it to other people, thus 'infecting' them. The replicas behave as 'strong zombies', and they can establish hives in order to infect more people. The replicas can also spread through direct contact with uninfected people.
Symbiotes aren't able to bond with hosts who have high levels of vitamin C in their blood streams. There are several levels of biological symbiosis, or "bonding" that can be achieved between a symbiote and its host, each with different biological consequences.
The virus was accidentally unleashed upon New York, and bonded to various New Yorkers and heroes including: Spider-Man, Spider-Woman (Veranke), Wasp, Black Widow, Wolverine, Doctor Strange and Hawkeye. Iron Man eventually finds a cure and frees everyone from the symbiotes.

Who is Venom's love interest?
In the comics, Anne Weying was bonded with Venom, which led her into becoming She-Venom. She was also married to Eddie Brock, unlike the the movies, where she was engaged with him before breaking up later on.
While coming close to killing Spider-Man numerous times in battles since their initial encounter, Venom also began to act as an antihero of sorts, hunting down and often killing people it believed to be guilty, while attempting to protect those in danger.
Venom's symbiote has explained on many occasions that the Klyntar planet is practically devoid of emotions, yet over time he knows that he forms genuine love for Eddie. Venom bonds more with Eddie and experiences guilt, jealousy, and sadness over his other half.
Venom came to empathize with Eddie's status as a "loser", eventually deciding to turn on its own kind and save the Earth from being invaded. The symbiote ultimately agreed to work alongside Eddie as a vigilante, to only hurt bad people despite its own confusion of how it can tell the difference of who is good or bad.
The Venom symbiote has two major weaknesses - sound and fire. Loud noises cause the symbiote to writhe in pain. That's how Peter Parker originally freed himself of the symbiote.
Most folks are familiar with the fact that the symbiote who would come to be known as Venom first bonded with Peter Parker. It got a taste of the power of Spider-Man and grew to love that power. It grew to love the feeling of the wind on its face swinging through the city. It loved the force behind every punch.
What wasn't revealed until later was the reason behind the symbiotes needing a host. Venom needs a host to survive because of the Symbiote's need to consume phenethylamine, a chemical found in the human brain.
During the storyline "Planet Of The Symbiotes," Venom is briefly separated from Flash, then proceeds to bonds with Groot, Rocket, and Drax at various points. This series offered fans a glimpse at what each of the Guardians would look like bonded to the Venom symbiote thanks to a series of unlikely events.
Basically, the symbiote didn't attempted to talk with Peter because it wanted to remain loyal and obedient like a servant. It didn't felt the need to talk to him, only to serve him.
By eating Carnage, Venom is effectively returning his spawn back to his former "unborn" state within Venom's mass, not taking anything he didn't already have into his cells.
In a flashback, it is revealed that she got pregnant with Eddie's child after bonding to Venom. After giving birth to their son Dylan, she left him in the care of Carl Brock, with the promise that she would return eventually. She instead committed suicide, after which Carl raised Dylan.
Like in Spider man 3 after Peter ripped the Symbiote off of Brock, it gravitated towards Peter over Brock. Another is in Spectacular Spider man cartoon where the Symbiote easily rejected Brock in favor of Spiderman when he wanted it back.
He hates Spiderman because he thinks he is the cause of all the bad luck in his life. Venom is bigger and stronger then Spiderman. His webbing is much stronger then that of of Spiderman. His weakness is Super Sonic noises such as the ringing of church bells.
Anne Weying first met Eddie Brock while a law student at Empire State University, and fell in love with him after he falsely claimed to have saved her from a group of thugs. Anne and Eddie eventually married, and while he became a journalist for the Daily Globe she became a successful lawyer.
He is arguably the series' most heinous villain, surpassing the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Tombstone, who all have less resources. He does not have a tragic backstory, redeeming qualities, comedic moments or even a Freudian Excuse for his actions and shows no remorse for what he does at all.
Venom requires brains and chocolate to survive. Marvel's comics explain that Venom has a biological need for the two substances. In the comics, brains and chocolate are prime sources for phenethylamine, a compound that positively affects mood and that Venom needs to live.
More recently there was the canonical statement of Venom's that they love Eddie. Once the film was released fans were quick to create jokes about their relationship. Many comparing them to the demon possession vine, or how Venom became emotionally attached to Eddie. He got physically attached pretty quickly as well.
