What can't you breed in Hogwarts Legacy?
Head to the Room of Requirement and into the Vivarium and conjure up a breeding pen by using your Conjuration spell. Place both a male and female Beast of the same species and wait 30 minutes in real-time to produce an offspring. And that's it!
Like any creature in Hogwarts Legacy, players can breed Unicorns, albeit a bit more time-consuming than the other Beasts, as the process requires an extra step. Unlike other creatures which can be found in groups, only one Unicorn can be seen when visiting its Habitat near Upper Hogsfield.

As mentioned above, there's only one Phoenix in the game, so there's no way to breed it, and of course, no Phoenix dens to find. After the Phoenix Rising quest, there's really nothing more to be done with this beast type.
In order to catch the unicorn, you need to make sure that you have you nabsack equipped. We also recommend that you have Accio, and a few other levitating spells ready. Firstly, try to land three hits with you nabsack, and then use a spell that will keep the unicorn in place.
Finding a shiny Unicorn in Hogwarts Legacy is tough, as there is only one den in the game and the fact that only one Unicorn spawns at a time in the den. While a normal Unicorn is white in color, the shiny Unicorn is brown, almost gold-like in color.
Once you spot a Unicorn, of which the game will only spawn one at a time, you can catch it. Cast Arresto Momento to stop the Unicorn from running away, and open the Nap-Sack.
