Since Hela was clearly much more powerful than Thor, and the only way the son of Odin was able to defeat her was by sacrificing his entire planet to Surtur, there's definitely an argument to be made that Hela could have not only beaten but outright wiped the floor with a Thanos that didn't have all six Infinity Stones.
This was not an even battle from the start. Thanos could effortlessly crush Hela, with or without the Infinity Gauntlet. The Nova Corps refers to him as a "Category 1 Life Ender," a mark that holds true considering he actually did go through with his life-ending plans.

Thor realized he was not going to be able to defeat her, and in an interesting turn of events, he ended up restoring Surtur's power by having Loki drop the crown in the Eternal Flame. This unleashed Ragnarök, which was the only way to defeat Hela as Asgard was her power source.

Namor was alive and active during Infinity War, but he also needed to keep his kingdom a secret from the surface world. He didn't care if the entire planet burned as long as Talokan remained intact. My best guess is that Namor didn't know what Thanos was trying to do.
While to some it may seem as if she could defeat Hela, she cannot. Hela stomps her. Her abilities are impressive but she is a glass cannon. She is slow and can get easily caught off guard.

Nowhere in the movies is Superman able to tank a bladed weapon from a superhumanly strong opponent. Assuming we're talking DCEU and MCU versions, then Hela wins this. Yes, she's not as fast as Superman and he'll give her quite a thrashing, but nothing Superman does will keep Hela down for long.
Odin has beaten Hela and had his son resurrected many times, and she has yet to succeed in taking retribution. These days, Odin is no longer the King of Asgard and no longer has the Odinforce, so, if Hela wanted revenge on the old man, now would be the time.
Why Thanos Is Stronger Than Namor. Thanos' strength is partially in-born as an Eternal/Deviant hybrid, but he has also used advanced science and magic to enhance his might, later receiving a supernatural upgrade from his love Lady Death.
In a matchup of pure strength, is the Hulk stronger than Namor? The answer is yes, unequivocally. However, the Sub-Mariner's powers, fighting skills, and advantage in the ocean have made him the surprise winner of numerous fights against the Hulk.

Stormbreaker can summon the bifrost and Hela is stronger in Asgard. Thor can teleport her and himself and open her chest killing her, or cut off her limbs ir head. Plus, Stormbreaker is stronger than Mjolnir.
Thor was fighting a weakened and injured Surtur whereas Hela was fighting Surtur reunited with the Eternal Flame and at planet killing size/power. We then have the fact that Hela herself was probably not at full power yet as the longer she was on Asgard she was still drawing her power from it.
