Padmé Amidala might have displayed Force-sensitive traits throughout the Star Wars prequel trilogy. However, these fascinating qualities are overshadowed by Anakin Skywalker, who is notoriously the strongest Force-sensitive in the Star Wars saga.
Padmé Amidala was able to sense Anakin Skywalker from a great distance in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, and while they had formed a bond as husband and wife, her Force sensitivity could have made it even more powerful.

But to be fair, we really don't ever see Luke face off against anyone strong after Vader so it's hard to say how strong he actually got. Not. They are weaker than Darth Maul. Rey is more powerful than everyone.

Anakin does not have even the slightest bit of remorse. By the end, he feels nothing but anger. Although he feels regret for killing Padme, he still helps the evil Emperor. The film ends with Anakins standing side by side with the man on whose behalf he has committed all his crimes.
Summary. Anakin Skywalker's murder of the younglings was fueled by his grief, self-loathing, and desire to save Padmé. Converting the younglings to the Dark Side was not an option because their loyalty to the Empire could not be guaranteed.
An older Dark Horse Comics story provides the best explanation for Anakin getting his scar from Asajj Ventress. George Lucas stated the scar symbolizes Anakin's growth as a Jedi Knight and first steps towards the dark side.
