The venom, Stephenie writes, is what helps Edward impregnate Bella in the fictional book. Ten years since Breaking Dawn was first released, fans are still talking about one potential plot hole from the book and movie.
There's a lot of emphasis put on the fact that Edward, our 104 year old vampire lead, is a virgin. Bella too, but there's less emphasis on that. Edward has never had a romantic partner, never dated. He died a seventeen year old virgin and remained one; you can tie that to the writer's faith, many have.

While Edward's obsession with Bella doesn't make a lot of sense, Bella's obsession with Edward is explained in the story by the fact that vampires are compelling and beautiful to attract their prey. So, while Bella is weak to this fact, it's still disturbing that she was so willing to give up her family for him.
Bella screams in her dream not because she is afraid of Edward, but because she is afraid for him. Bella does extensive research online about vampires and discovers that not all vampires are considered evil.
Every night her father has stated that he wakes up to Bella screaming in her sleep due to night terrors regarding Edward. Formerly, she even went to the extreme and decided to bound off a cliff into a body of water, but luckily, she was not severely harmed.
Renesmee's introduction was one to remember – unfortunately, though, not because Bella was meeting her daughter for the first time, but because the production crew decided to use a CGI baby in the place of a real one. Renesmee Cullen was not a normal child.
