Back in Thor Ragnarok, Hela destroyed Mjölnir for good. So the Asgardian Prince ended up forging Stormbreaker in Avengers Infinity War, but he was eventually reunited with his hammer in Avengers Endgame.
In Thor: Ragnarok, Hela destroyed Thor's Asgardian hammer, Mjolnir, but it's still unclear exactly how she did it in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When director Taika Waititi took over the Thor franchise with Thor: Ragnarok, he put a unique spin on the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of the Norse apocalypse.
The broken pieces were eventually made into a tourist attraction in New Asgard. Five years after the Snap, Thor time traveled to an alternate 2013 and brought its Mjølnir into the main universe's 2023, where it was used by Steve Rogers during the battle to fight an alternate Thanos.

How was Hela able to break Mjolnir?
Odin's enchantment on Mjolnir in the beginning of Thor made it so only those worthy could wield its power. The most plausible explanation for Hela being able to hold and destroy Mjolnir is that Odin's death weakened the enchantment and she was too powerful for it.
Stormbreaker has the additional power to summon the Bifröst, allowing Thor to teleport anywhere in the Nine Realms. Screen Rant has identified Stormbreaker as the more powerful of the two, based on this ability, as well as it being a much larger and edged weapon.
Unlike Mjølnir, however, the weapon is not enchanted to prevent those deemed "unworthy" from holding it, making anybody with sufficient strength capable of using the weapon.
Naturally, the clearest and most obvious reason why Thanos would win in a fight with Hela would be his Infinity Gauntlet. In the Mad Titan's possession, it would be incredibly difficult for Hela to defeat him either in a straight fight, or some other means.
In a moment of wistful affection for his girlfriend, Thor asked his trusty hammer to always protect Jane, and in doing so unwittingly enchanted Mjolnir to do just that. Just like Thor's father Odin once enchanted the hammer to only be lifted by someone who is worthy, Thor cast a spell that let Jane use its powers.

Odin has beaten Hela and had his son resurrected many times, and she has yet to succeed in taking retribution. These days, Odin is no longer the King of Asgard and no longer has the Odinforce, so, if Hela wanted revenge on the old man, now would be the time.

Even after achieving his full power, Thor was still unable to defeat his sister, however, he managed to win a fight against her by striking her down into the water below. Hela withstands Thor's lightning Hela's body, much like Thor's, was nigh-invulnerable, but to a much greater degree.
Nowhere in the movies is Superman able to tank a bladed weapon from a superhumanly strong opponent. Assuming we're talking DCEU and MCU versions, then Hela wins this. Yes, she's not as fast as Superman and he'll give her quite a thrashing, but nothing Superman does will keep Hela down for long.
Thor's hammer Mjolnir was defined by the fact that only the 'worthy' could lift it – so basically no-one except the god of thunder (and Vision, for some reason). But when it comes to the weapon's replacement, Stormbreaker – which Thor forges in Avengers: Infinity War – Groot is able to lift it too.
If Thor decides to use the power of lightning onboard the Asgardian refugee ship to fight the villain and his minions, he may accidentally damage the ship, or worse, even kill his own people. So, he chose to hold himself back, allowing some Asgardians to escape with Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and Korg (Taika Waititi).
Meanwhile, MCU Phase 4 saw Stormbreaker being wielded by Thor, Gorr the God Butcher, Love, and anyone else who was strong enough to actually lift and swing it. This is because of the respective origins of both legendary Asgardian weapons.
The movie doesn't explain Thor's motivations for giving up Stormbreaker, but it makes sense that Chris Hemsworth simply wanted Love to have a powerful weapon to aid her in battle. It's unlikely that he could give her Mjolnir, considering that so few people in the MCU have been deemed worthy of its power.
By most accounts, Superman seemingly outclasses Thor in terms of raw strength, especially in earlier versions of the DC Universe. He's pulled planets, punched people into orbit, and performed all sorts of wild feats of strength.
Thor hypes up the weapon which eventually became Stormbreaker in Infinity War as the "Thanos-killing kind" of weapon. However, there is a clear weakness between Stormbreaker and Mjolnir.
