Michael Morbius was a scientist working for Hydra who helped Doctor Octopus create Anti-Venom. He would later recreate the Carnage symbiote. He became Morbius the Living Vampire later on but was ultimately slain by the Carnage Queen.

The storylines depicted in Morbius are closely aligned with the character's original Marvel Comics narrative. With post-credit scenes hinting at more, no Morbius 2 updates have said a sequel won't be added to the upcoming Marvel movie slate — despite Morbius' negative reviews.
