In the original script, Lyle Wainfleet cuts off the queue of Tsu'tey during the final battle. Wainfleet mentions he hears that cutting a queue is worse than death, causing Tsu'tey to scream in agony because his nervous system explodes on overload.
They wouldn't be able to ride, connect with the spirit tree, or even MATE! Not to mention, the pain is beyond human comparison- the na'vi's life is basically destroyed. Explaining why Tsu'tey embraced death after having his queue cut off.
Tsu'tey was also one of the students in Grace Augustine's school which is where he learned English. Ten years after the school opened, the RDA forces fired upon the Na'vi and Sylwanin was killed during the assault. Tsu'tey was then promised to Neytiri, who he did not love.
