And now, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have officially revealed what costume Wolverine will wear for his MCU debut. And no surprise, Deadpool 3, a.k.a. Deadpool & Wolverine, has opted to give Wolverine his bright yellow (and blue) suit, a costume pulled straight from the pages of Marvel Comics.
Thankfully, this is confirmed to not be the case as per Hugh Jackman himself, who stated in an interview with The Empire Film Podcast (via CBR) that Deadpool 3 would be taking place before Logan. Specifically, this means that the Wolverine of Deadpool 3 is neither a zombie nor a resurrected version of the character.
Notably, he made it clear in a December 2022 interview with Variety that Deadpool & Wolverine isn't about to retcon Logan's finale. “It's all because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines,” Jackman explained.
Wolverine's daughter, X-23 aka Laura Kinney, is a relatively recent addition to Marvel's ever-changing and always-evolving X-Men lineup, and now after a Resurrection Protocol mix-up, two versions of Laura are running around the shores of Krakoa, with the older version of the character getting a permanent new codename.

Marvel did not include Deadpool in Avengers: Infinity War because: 1) He had no connection to the story and the other characters; 2) his type of comedy does not fit in with this film, and most importantly, 3) Marvel does not own the film rights to him yet.
