As Marvel's First Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze is Traditionally a Loner. Blaze is no stranger to being a part of a team but never before has he had a partner like Talia.
Mack was Johnny Blaze's best friend and crew leader for Team Blaze. He worried about the increasingly dangerous stunts Johnny pulled off, thinking his friend was heading towards self-destruction. He was eventually killed by Blackheart to intimidate Johnny, who had since become the Ghost Rider.
