Arnold - A small, purple pygmy puff, Arnold is the beloved pet of Ginny Weasley. She buys Arnold from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and he is first introduced in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Ginny Weasley's Pygmy Puff, Arnold was brightly coloured, pocket sized and delightfully fluffy. Bought from the Weasley twins' Diagon Alley shop, Arnold accompanied Ginny to Hogwarts and enjoyed riding around on her shoulder.
Round with soft, custard coloured fur, Puffskeins have long pink tongues and make a low humming sound when happy. The Weasley twins bred Pygmy Puffs, a new multicoloured breed that became incredibly popular. Ginny Weasley even came home with one that she named Arnold.
Pigwidgeon (or "Pig"), Ron's hyperactive Scops Owl, a gift from Sirius Black upon the loss of Scabbers, following the climactic events in Ron's third year. Ginny named him Pigwidgeon, but Ron, hating the name, called him Pig.
In the first couple of books, Ginny simply has a crush on Harry, and gets very nervous around him, while Harry does not return the feelings for her, but still likes her as a friend.

This is where I think she is jealous of Hermione, because in Ginny's mind Hermione has not only taken her brother from her, with Ginny finding she might have been replaced as her brothers best female friend, but she is also jealous of Hermione with how easily she talks to him, and how Harry Potter seems to trust her.
Hedwig. Harry's owl Hedwig is a Snowy Owl. She's a female but, in the movie, the actors playing her are males. (One of the owls playing Hedwig was also the very first cast member to be chosen!!)
Bred as miniature versions of Puffskeins, Pygmy Puffs became something of a craze in the wizarding world. Sort of like Pokémon cards but fluffier. Ginny bought a purple Pygmy Puff and called him Arnold, for heaven's sake. Hamsters and guinea pigs ain't got nothing on these little balls of fun.
As the youngest Weasley, we're sure Ginny observed more than her fair share of unpleasant spells over the years but it was the Bat Bogey Hex she was famous for – and with good reason. This was the spell that overpowered Draco Malfoy and the Inquisitorial Squad, and also secured her an invite to the Slug Club.
Pigwidgeon, or Pig, a Scops owl, was a gift from Sirius Black to Ron. Ron's sister, Ginny, named the owl. The owl refused to answer to anything else after that.
Ginny names her Pygmy Puff "Arnold", and is seen with it a few times in that year. Despite their small role in the films and books, toy Pygmy Puffs can be purchased from the Warner Brothers online store and the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" theme park.
In the Ginny & Georgia cast there's Ginny's high school friend Max who is openly a lesbian, Sophie Sanchez (Max's girlfriend in season 2) is bisexual, Paul's campaign manager Nick is gay, and so is the Private Investigator Gabriel.
As for how they learned the news, Netflix dropped a video with Antonia Gentry excitedly revealing the show will return for two more installments. "Ginny & Georgia has been renewed for Season 3 — and Season 4!" read the caption for a May 2023 post on X (formerly Twitter).
She remains unattached and taken with Harry until she hooks up with Michael Corner, a Ravenclaw student. That relationship ends in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, after Ginny breaks up with him and Michael shifts his attention to Cho Chang.
In the book, their kiss happens in Chapter 24 - Sectumsempra of Half Blood Prince, right after Gryffindor wins the Quidditch cup. In the film, it happens when Ginny takes Harry to the Room of Requirement to hide the Half Blood Prince's potions book. In the book Harry and Ginny's first kiss is really amazing.
While Ginny and Marcus try to continue dating as they work on confronting their respective traumas, it all becomes too much for Marcus. During their devastating breakup scene, Marcus tells Ginny, “I don't have room for anyone else's pain right now.”
At the end of season 1, Max finds out that Ginny (Antonia Gentry) secretly slept with Max's twin brother, Marcus (Felix Mallard). She becomes furious at Ginny and cuts her off as Ginny runs away to her father's house in Boston.
In the show, the titular character Ginny starts season 1 of Ginny & Georgia as a 15-year-old. She then celebrates her 16th birthday and remains 16 years old throughout the rest of season 1 and into season 2. But how old is Antonia Gentry, the actress who plays Ginny? In real life, Antonia is actually 25 years old.

Throughout season 2, viewers see Ginny and Marcus in a relationship, while both dealing with their own mental health struggles. At the end of the season, Marcus breaks up with Ginny to prioritise working through his depression. The two remain on good terms and vow to stay friends.
