The alien Beta Ray Bill, whose strength and nobility proves equal to Thor's, gained his own mystic hammer, Stormbreaker, from Odin, and shared a brief romance with Sif.
Sif eventually returns and finally comes to forgive Thor after she realizes that Lorelei was to blame for his brutality. However, she clarifies to Balder that her love for Bill is purely platonic. She also develops a romantic relationship with another mortal to wield Thor's power, Eric Masterson.

Although Stormbreaker and Mjolnir have very similar properties and powers, Stormbreaker is the most powerful weapon wielded by Thor so far. The obvious reasons are that Stormbreaker is the physically larger weapon out of the two, and not to mention that it is an axe, which could well be more dangerous than a hammer.
