A serialized sequel series for Disney+ titled Monsters at Work does not feature Boo in it, as show creator Bobs Gannaway wishes to leave her relationship with Sulley following the events of the original film up to the interpretation of the fans.
Gannaway and Docter's justification for why Boo is missing from Monsters at Work is pretty logical and persuasive. The adorable little girl had her storyline completely fleshed out in the 2001 movie, so it would have been tricky to incorporate her into a new story anyway.
After her door is shredded, Sulley feels sad that he'll never see Boo again and keeps one of the splintered pieces from her door as a memento. At the end of the film, Mike brings Sulley (now the new CEO of Monsters, Inc.)
Boo is not afraid of Sulley because she thinks he is a big “kitty”. It is something she knows, so he is not scary. However, when he growls at the robot kid in the simulation room, she finds out he is a monster and is afraid.
Sulley, who was initially hesitant, became Boo's protector and obtained a fatherly role to the human. Constantly worrying about her and protecting her from harm while at the same time unlocking the secrets that humans were not as deadly as rumored.

In the film, Boo is a 2-year-old human child and speaks mostly in gibberish due to her age, who has escaped from her room from which Randall intended to kidnap her. Much of the film's plot follows what happens as Sulley and Mike try to get Boo back to safety.
Sulley first treated Boo as if she was a mere pet, which was disrespectful of him to do but then again, he was under his natural thoughts that human children were hazardous. However, his opinion on Boo changes as they spend more time with each other and bond properly.
When she first appears, Boo is very attached to Sulley (calling him "Kitty"), but he isn't so keen. But as the film progresses, he develops a bond with her. At one point, Sulley, under Mr.
Boo is a 2-year-old toddler who is curious and naïve. She can talk, but mostly has gibberish vocabulary and little dialogue because of her age. The only actual words she says in the film are "Boo!", "Kitty!", "Eww.", "Roar!" "Cookie.", "I'm Tigger.", "Gotcha!", "Look I made a big hole!", and "Mike Wazowski!".
A fan theory suggests that Boo from Monsters, Inc. grows up to be Andy's mom in Toy Story, but there are flaws in this theory. Pete Docter, Chief Creative Officer of Pixar, debunked the theory and explained that the Easter eggs in Pixar movies are not meant to impact the storylines of other films.

Upon traveling through her door, they'd discover that she had moved house, so the pair would undergo a quest to find their favorite human friend again. Despite the interesting plot, Monsters Inc. 2 was scrapped when Pixar and Disney merged, closing down Circle 7 Animation Studios in the process.
Resolution: Sully and Mike take over the company and end the energy crisis using laughter, which they had discovered was a hundred times more powerful than scream. Mike reveals that he's reconstructed Boo's shredded door, allowing Sully to see her again. This is possibly my favorite closing scene of all time.
