This movie is filled with over-the-top excessive use of jump scares that can be effective or it can land flat. By the end of the movie, you're feeling exhausted by all the jump scares that happened in the movie; personally for me, jump scares aren't my thing whether they're effective or not!

It was a bit of a letdown because of how predictable it was. I feel like if the entire movie had been similar to the end, I would have been on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Summary. The Nun II's story takes inspiration from a real life legend. While the movie takes liberties with its real inspirations, it builds a connection between Irene and Lorraine Warren.
