Fictional character biography. May Parker (née Reilly) was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 5. After the death of her brother-in-law and his wife, May and her husband Ben Parker took in their only nephew, Peter, and raised him at their home at 20 Ingram Street, Forest Hills, Queens.
Though not a blood relative, Peter was a suitable match for May; after a moment of hesitation, uncertain what his radioactive blood would do to his aunt, Peter agreed to give May the transfusion. May was restored to health and recuperated in Florida.

Is Aunt May actually Peters Aunt?
May is the widow of Ben Parker and the paternal aunt by marriage of Peter Parker, who leads a secret life as Spider-Man. She is nurturing and supportive of Peter as a mother figure, although throughout most of Spider-Man's history, she has not known of his secret life and considered Spider-Man frightening.
Then later on when they (Peter and Norman), were having dinner at Aunt May's house. Peter said that a bike messenger knocked him down (to explain how he got the cut) at 2:48, but Norman (Green Goblin), recognized it from when he sliced him (Spider-Man), in the burning building with the baby in it.
Aunt May and Ben Parker's marriage played out in flashbacks throughout Spider-Man comics, and things were not always easy for the couple. In Amazing Spider-Man Family #7, the story revealed that May and Ben tried to have children of their own but May miscarried and learned she couldn't have children in the future.

She is implied to have been friends with May Parker at one point as May called her "Liv", In which many theorise it correlated to Otto Octavius and May Parker's marriage in the Marvel Comics, along with their Divorce.
