From his first MCU appearance in 2011's Thor, Loki revealed his ability to create duplicates of himself and fake his death. At the end of the film, Loki was seen careening through space to his apparent death, only to resurface during the end credits scene.
Then, he hid by shape-shifting into inanimate debris. After faking his death, Grant's Classic Loki drifted in space and wound up on a remote planet. He stayed there in isolation and simply lived his life. The TVA didn't arrest him until he tried to leave the planet and get back to his brother, Thor.
The perils of temporal radiation didn't affect Loki because of the untapped power imbued by Odin's magic. The ending of Loki season 2 makes more sense when considering the theory that Odin's spell enhanced Loki's magical capabilities.
The real answer is even more impressive than how Loki survived in the first Thor movie. Loki's Thor: The Dark World death was of course, also fake, and it allowed Loki to ambush the Asgardian who found his body and disguise himself as the messenger, thus earning the opportunity to slip into Odin's presence.
After it was destroyed, the Bifrost could no longer be harnessed, preventing the annihilation of the Frost Giants, and creating a temporary wormhole which Loki allowed himself to fall through after Odin condemned Loki's actions.
Loki appeared to die no less than three times over the course of his six appearances in the MCU, starting with his falling into a wormhole in Thor, continuing with his faked death in Thor: The Dark World, and finally his actual death (so it would seem) at Thanos' hands in the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War.
By saving and organizing every existing timeline, Loki has become the God of Time — a higher being who keeps the past, present, and future of every universe from being erased by outside forces. However, Loki has also become the God of Stories, as he has placed everybody's personal journey above his own.
Here, holding on to all of the timelines, he became a kind of tree god, physically representing the Norse tree of life, Yggdrasil. It was a poignant and painful ending for Loki, who now seems to be sentenced to being alone for eternity as he watches over the timelines.
During Thor: The Dark World, Loki deceives Thor, faking his death after Kurse impails him. As Thor cradles his brother, Loki chokes out his "final" words before dying. However, Odin sends a guard to Svartalfheim, and a living Loki swaps places with him, returning to Asgard to dethrone the Allfather.
The spell was permanent, making it so Loki only reverted to having blue skin when touching a Frost Giant or one of their artifacts. Since Loki's appearance was a spell, not just an illusion, it could not be broken or reversed by Odin's death.
After a moment of understandable shock and pained anguish, Loki ominously broke out in a fit of laughter. The main reason for Loki's laugh can be summed by an old adage: If you don't laugh, you'll cry. In a matter of moments, Loki learned that the sum total of his schemes and betrayals equaled absolutely nothing.
A different interpretation of the theory says Odin intentionally changed Loki's appearance and made him look like Hela. In order to keep the baby safe, Odin had to make him look like a human immediately, but instead of making him look like Thor, he chose Hela, as a constant reminder of his daughter.
Mjølnir: Thor was wielding the magical Uru hammer, which he had lost when he was banished from Asgard. However, before Thor could retrieve the Mjølnir from S.H.I.E.L.D., he was killed by Hawkeye.
By far, Loki is now the strongest MCU character. It was shown in season 1 of Loki that Timelines=the universe. Loki held infinity of them with his strength.
Believing that Loki was of no benefit to him during this skirmish due to his lack of physical strength, Kurse decided to leave Loki inside his cell, who went on to give Kurse directions as to find what he was looking for within Asgard.
Is Loki more powerful than Thor? Loki isn't more powerful than Thor ,that's why he seeks mjolnir. I will say he is more powerful without bringing mjolnir to the question. Although he is more versatile having powers Thor doesn't,Thor is far stronger physically though and mjolnir can dispel magic spells.
Meanwhile, the events of Endgame and Loki gave fans hope that Thor would get a chance to see the person Loki became, easing the grief from seeing his brother's death. Unfortunately, the Loki finale all but ensures that won't happen. There is one small glimmer of hope, though.
This added confusion to an already spirited debate regarding Loki's worthiness in and out of comics. It is in The Immortal Thor #5 by Al Ewing, Martin Coccolo, Matthew Wilson, and VC's Joe Sabino that the confusion is cleared up with a simple answer: Loki is worthy of lifting Mjolnir!
Of all the MCU shows, Marvel's Loki is the strongest. The series took 2012 Loki from The Avengers during Avengers: Endgame's time travel heist and removed him from his time period.
That's possible, given he is the one who is powering the entire multiverse through sheer will alone. But God of Time seems perhaps more fitting in this case. Whatever Loki is, because he isn't dead there's always a chance we'll see him again.
