With his pride damaged, Jason then heads to Arkham Asylum to meet Crane, which leads to him making the anti-fear toxin and dying at Joker's hands. Crane, glad he got an apprentice, would later resurrect Jason via a Lazarus Pit, finally giving rise to Red Hood so they could reshape Gotham.
After Jason is killed by the Joker and resurrected in the Lazarus Pit, he goes on to become the Red Hood, straining his relationship with Batman. The new team consists of Jason Todd as Red Hood, the disgraced Amazon warrior named Artemis, and the Superman clone called Bizarro.
Jason's body is soon taken to a Lazarus Pit left by Ra's al Ghul and dunked inside. Thanks to the healing properties of the Lazarus Pit, Jason is restored to life. He's then brought to Crane, who has a secret lab underneath Arkham Asylum.

Who is the strongest Robin?
Batman has trained many young heroes as Robin, and while they have all been impressive on their own, DC just confirmed that one stands above the others in terms of power: Damian Wayne is the most powerful Robin.
Jason was strong, held onto the belief that Batman was out there looking for him, and, would soon find him. However, Joker started to break down Jason's will when he showed him a photo of Batman with the new Robin, Tim Drake. The abuse continued for six months, and Joker even let other Arkham inmates beat Jason.
In the pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths continuity, the maturing Dick Grayson grows weary of his role as Batman's young sidekick. He renames himself Nightwing, recalling his adventure in the Kryptonian city of Kandor, where he and Batman meet the local hero of the same name.

Jason Todd had the most famous death of any Robin, where Jason was beaten to death by The Joker in Death in the Family by Jim Starlin, Jim Aparo and Adrienne Roy.
Jason's remains are sent to a morgue, where his still-beating heart entices the coroner to eat it, allowing Jason's soul to possess him. Jason, in the coroner's body, escapes the morgue, killing another coroner and two FBI guards in the process.
Six months after his death and funeral, Jason was resurrected. Talia Al Ghul, who had been keeping an eye on him since the Zero Year, retrieved Jason and used the Lazarus Pit to restore his body and mind to full health. Jason would later remember seeing Talia looking down at him in fear as he was reborn.
In the fifth issue of the miniseries, in addition to there being a portrait of Pamela in her and Jason's old house, it is implied that she used the Necronomicon to resurrect Jason after he drowned in Crystal Lake.

Matthew McGinnis was created for the television series Batman Beyond. In the DC Animated Universe Matthew was the younger brother of Terry who is also the protector of Gotham City. Later, Matthew was revealed to be the next Robin, nicknamed Robin Beyond who aids his brother in the future as his side kick.

Is it true that Jason Todd can't age anymore since he was in the Lazarus Pit? No. Not how the Lazarus pits work. The reason he doesn't age is the same reason Superman, Batman, wonder woman and most of dc don't age: it's not nessessary for the plot.
While he had finally forgiven Batman and dedicated his life to once again protect the innocent in Gotham City, Jason's continued willingness to kill criminals would forever be a delicate aspect in his otherwise repaired relationship with his mentor.
