In the original 1960s sitcom, Fester is said to be Morticia's maternal uncle (his name rhymes with that of Morticia's mother, Hester). However, from the 1970s onward, he is Gomez's brother.

Clearly, Wednesday is a psychic but I also consider her a monster type of 'Mary Sue' or 'Main Character', which has invulnerability and the power to do what needs to be done. The whole family has the 'main character' type of powers.
According to Ortega herself , she drew inspiration from Siouxsie Sioux, & archived footage of dancers at goth clubs. So it seem like she definitely did her homework on this one, and made something that if nothing else, “Feels” authentically Goth, even if the song she was dancing too strictly speaking isn't fully Goth.
So, should my kid watch it? Due to the violence and dark themes of Wednesday, we'd say this one is better for slightly older kids around 13+. However, you know your child best and will know what they can handle.
