After all, there are only six of them (Billy, Freddy, Mary, Darla, Eugene and Pedro), yet a seventh throne remains. Fans knew this was a hint of Black Adam showing up in a sequel, but when the character did finally appear in the DC Universe, ties to the Shazam mythology got cut woefully short.
Billy put the Eye back and re-imprisoned the Sins. Freddy was thrilled they had found a place of their own. They proceeded to sit down on six of the thrones before noticing there was an empty seventh throne.
After spending a decade in prison, C.C. returns to Philadelphia to find Billy at the Vazquezes' foster home. When he is attacked by Black Adam and the Seven Deadly Sins, Billy shares his Shazam powers with his father, making him the prophesied seventh and final member of the Shazam Family.

As it exists currently in the DC Universe, there are six members of the Shazam Family - Billy Batson's foster siblings - just like Parker's original team. While Bill Parker's idea to make Shazam six different characters fell through, it also foreshadowed the ongoing adventures of the Shazam Family.

Is Black Adam stronger than Shazam?
Shazam acknowledges that he is unsure if he is stronger than Black Adam, despite his confidence in his mortal form. Both Shazam and Black Adam possess the same strengths endowed by the Wizard and have never been able to triumph over each other.
The Black Adam film later revealed that Teth-Adam himself killed all of Shazam's compatriots, seemingly revealing that Shazam had lied about the true culpability of the Seven Sins.
Originally imagined as an ancient Egyptian pharaoh, Teth-Adam (Black Adam's original alter ego) was the first mortal being to be granted the powers of Shazam, long before the teenaged Billy Batson was chosen as the ancient wizard's champion.
Each member of this version of the Shazam Family shares their power equally with the others, so if the six members are transformed at once, each of them gets only a fraction of the power level.

Shazam's greatest weakness is mind control, which turns him into a living weapon with no one to stop him. This weakness harms others more than Shazam himself, as he is physically invulnerable. If a villain gains control of Shazam, he becomes the deadliest member of the Justice League.
On their own, both these noble heroes are capable of beating incredible forces. But for all Shazam's power, he does not match Thor's experience in using the more arcane elements of his abilities.
Black Adam would tear him apart. Thanos is Marvel powerful, but that's a far cry from DC powerful. Black Adam has him beaten in everything but intelligence, and Adam has a power for that one. Thanos's cosmic energies are his best bet, but Adam's speed and flight would let him stay out of their way.
Weaknesses. Magical Vulnerability: Only significant magic can affect him. Lightning: Lightning attacks that cause damage and can cause Black Adam to revert back to Theo Adam.
