Owl and Rabbit were brought to life to join Pooh and pals Eeyore, Piglet, Kanga, Roo, and Tigger, by Milne and illustrator Ernest H. Shepard. The stuffed animals range in height from 25" (Eeyore, the biggest) to 4 1/2" (Piglet, the smallest).

Is Eeyore depressed?
Eeyore is a character that displays a relatively accurate example of major depressive disorder. One major issue with the character portrayed is his consistent involvement with a support group.
After a visit to the zoo, where A. A. Milne and Christopher met a Canadian black bear called Winnie, he named the bear in his story Winnie too. The 'Pooh' part of the name came from a swan called Pooh that Milne had met on holiday!
It's a well known theory that eeyore is suffering from depression or dysthymia disorder. His low mood, sarcastic negative criticisms, and distaste for social situations are constant reminders that eeyore is not in the best frame of mind.

Despite being one of the most prominent characters in the source material, Tigger wasn't a part of the original Blood and Honey. The reason, as writer/director Rhys Frake-Waterfield told us earlier this year, was that Tigger wasn't a part of the public domain when the first movie was in production.

The incident essentially breaks them and they become enemies of mankind, making a pact to become feral and never speak like humans again.
We do not have sufficient history to diagnose this as an inherited, endogenous depression or to know whether some early trauma contributed to his chronic negativism, low energy and anhe(haw)donia. Eeyore would benefit greatly from an antidepressant, perhaps combined with individual therapy.
The Chinese government has blocked images and mentions of Winnie the Pooh on social media because Internet users have been using the character to mock CCP general secretary Xi Jinping. This is part of a larger effort to restrict bloggers from getting around censorship in China.
Like most of the characters in Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger was based on one of Christopher Robin Milne's stuffed animals, in this case a stuffed-toy tiger. However, the word "tiger" is never actually used in the book.
Both stories are set on snowy days: the shirt is to keep him warm, not for decency. After all, he goes around naked all the rest of the time. And the Disney animators seem to have picked up the shirt from these two stories and used it for all their drawings of Pooh.
