Beetlejuice contains some mild language, fantasy violence, and some suggestive humor, but overall, it was considered suitable for a general audience, including children with parental guidance. But the only reason we went was bc my 12 year old loves the movie. It is definitely NOT kid friendly. With all the bad language and reference to the use of cocaine and adult humor I felt very uncomfortable being there with my child. And all the liberal gay jokes were just uncalled for.
