And thanks to a fun little retcon, Boba Fett wasn't even the last living clone of Jango Fett. Rex, one of the clone commanders during the Clone Wars, lived long enough to participate in the Battle of Endor, which took place shortly after Boba became Sarlacc poodoo.
Soon after referred to as Boba, he was the very first of many clones modeled on the Jango Fett template, but was only one of two known clones that were pure genetic copies of the original Fett template—the other being Omega.
While seemingly killed in Return of the Jedi after falling into a sarlacc, he has since appeared in Star Wars media set after the film, confirming his survival within the new canon, portrayed by Temuera Morrison.
In-universe, Fett's long-term injures from his time in the sarlacc may partially explain his newfound attitude in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

Who is better, Jango or Boba?
In terms of combat skills, Jango has the upper hand. He has undergone rigorous training under bounty hunters like Hondo Ohnaka, Duros Cad Bane, Aurra Sing, and Zam Wesell. Boba may seem cooler in fighting, but his father is more skillful than him in hand-to-hand combat.
Although he would retain his Mandalorian armor, Prime Minister Almec of the New Mandalorians disavowed any connection to Fett, claiming that he was simply a bounty hunter who had somehow stolen an artifact from Mandalore's troubled past.
Jango hated the Jedi for what they took from him. Perhaps he even hated him for having a home to return to after helping the New Mandalorians take his. Whatever the reason, he hated the Jedi enough to become essential to Palpatine's elaborate plans of genocide.
In his time as a Bounty Hunter, Jango is only known to have killed one Jedi, Coleman Trebor. However, he did kill six Jedi with his bare hands during the Battle of Galidraan, when he was still a soldier.
Although Fett seemingly met his demise in the Sarlacc pit on Tatooine after falling into the Great Pit of Carkoon, Boba survived the beast and lived to reclaim his armor, taking over the throne at Jabba's Palace.
After the death of Jango Fett, Aurra trained Boba Fett as a bounty hunter, teaching him the skills -- and the ruthlessness -- that he would need in pursuing his deadly profession.
He isn't just amoral, an anti-hero, or a gray character. He's a full-on villain who doesn't care if he gets his subordinates bombed, his allies shot, or his town smashed, as long as he gets his way and comes out on top.
Even in The Rise of Skywalker, Snoke clones can be seen floating in tanks, and most of these were alive, meaning many were kept in stasis or possibly used as slaves. And so, there was only a single identical Palpatine clone, but numerous altered clones over the entire Sith headquarters.
So considering there were about 3.5 million clones, it seems reasonable that 700,000-900,000 clones died given the intensity of the warfare. Clones were the elites, but sector defense forces and militias provided the bulk of the combat.
Because of that, the clones eventually retired or died off shortly after the Clone Wars (as depicted in Star Wars: The Clone Wars) ended. Furthermore, as revealed in Obi-Wan Kenobi, some Clone Wars veterans even ended up abandoned in city streets, forgotten by the Empire, with no family to turn to.
In The Clone Wars, Boba Fett was near obsessed with the prospect of killing Mace Windu, and didn't seem to care much at also having the opportunity to kill Anakin Skywalker when the opportunity came up, focusing solely on Windu.
Windu counters that Sidious is too dangerous to be kept alive and prepares to summarily execute him. However, Anakin intervenes on Sidious' behalf, disarming Windu by severing his right hand. Sidious kills Windu with a blast of Force lightning, sending him falling to his death out of his office's window.
Is Grogu Yoda? According to the events of "The Mandalorian" so far, Grogu and Yoda are not the same character. They are simply from the same species. The name of this species has never been revealed since "Star Wars" creator George Lucas wanted to give Yoda a sense of mystery.
He is primarily motivated by profit and usually only loyal to the highest bidder. Fett always focuses on maintaining peak condition with his body, mind, and equipment.
Boba Fett's famous green and red armor represents duty and honoring one's parent, respectively. In Legends, Boba Fett was not only a bounty hunter, but also a Journeyman Protector (a Mandalorian police officer) and the Mand'alor who succeeded Fenn Shysa, making duty one of his defining characteristics.
If Boba had been killed, Jango would have suffered the ultimate loss. If he didn't end up dead or out of the bounty hunting gig, chances are he would have been colder and more ruthless than ever. It might have even gotten to the point where being paid wouldn't matter anymore, either.
It was then that Fett would carry out the act that would make him both famous and infamous for the rest of his life and career: using no weapon beyond his own hands, feet, and armored body, Fett vengefully killed six Jedi, including the one killed Myles.
