Deadpool is rated R by the MPAA for strong violence and language throughout, sexual content and graphic nudity. Violence: - Frequent explicit violence, with realistic detail, blood and tissue damage.
The formal viewing of the finished film took place at the end of January and though the effects were complete, it was to all intents and purposes, identical to the version seen for advice and was therefore passed uncut at 15.
But, this is NOT for kids. There is very violent scenes, including head shots, brains oozing out of people's heads from those shots, and Deadpool uses his swords to impale people, slice their heads off, and slice them in half. There is also a LOT of sexual scenes.
Those who thought Deadpool might just be a smidge more violent than your standard Avengers or X-Men movie, know this: It's NOT for middle schoolers. The adult language, the sex/nudity and innuendo, and the gore are too plentiful to recommend even for avid young high schoolers.

Deadpool 3 Will Be Just As R-Rated As The First Two Movies
