Disney confirms Frozen 3 is in pre-production after the success of Frozen 2 at the box office. The next chapter for Elsa and Anna's story is a secret. Frozen 3 will continue the story from where Frozen 2 left off, potentially exploring new directions and introducing new characters.
Honeymaren, a member of the Northuldra tribe who was trapped in the Enchanted Forest by the curse, could return for Frozen 3 as Elsa's girlfriend based on the two characters' shared chemistry.
Most notably, Frozen 3 ended with Anna becoming Queen of Arendelle. As the youngest sibling, it was not predictable that Anna would become Queen of the kingdom, a role that was instead always envisioned for Elsa, as proven by her coronation ceremony in the first Frozen film.
Being the fifth spirit meant Elsa will serve as a bridge between people and the magic spirits. Since Frozen and its spin-offs explored much of Arendelle, Frozen 3 may dive deeper into the lore of the Enchanted Forest and the Northuldra tribe.
Elsa becomes the "fifth spirit", the bridge between the magical world and the human world. But, as we all know, a bridge has two sides and Anna is the other one. So, Elsa stays in the forest and Anna becomes Queen of Arendelle, ensuring that the two kingdoms live happily ever after.
Frozen 3 Could Reveal That Anna's Powers Support Elsa's
Instead of being able to control fire or other such elements (there's already a fire spirit in Frozen 2), it seems more likely that Anna's magic works as a sort of support for Elsa's.
The people of Arendelle are joyously preparing for her coronation day. Anna (now 18) is flushed with excitement as the castle gates are opened for the first time since the sisters' childhood.
However, the filmmakers were willing to say one thing definitively: "Elsa's not going to have a romantic relationship in this," writer-director Jennifer Lee told a group of journalists gathered at Walt Disney Animation Studios.
In the first Frozen movie, Elsa's age was 21, while Anna was 18. Considering Frozen revolved around Elsa's coronation, it's refreshing to see that Arendelle waited until she was a more appropriate age to receive the queen title. Frozen II occurred after a 3-year time jump, with Elsa now 24 and Anna 21.
More recently, Iger, 72, revealed there will be a fourth installment of the popular animated musical franchise, in a speech from Hong Kong Disneyland shared on Good Morning America Thursday.
Frozen 3 could also naturally bring Elsa and Honeymaren together as a couple since they both live in the same location by the end of Frozen 2: the Enchanted Forest. After Elsa discovers she's the fifth spirit, she finds her calling as the mediator between the natural world and civilization.
Elsa explains that she and Anna are the bridge between the people and the magical spirits. Anna then becomes Queen of Arendelle; Elsa becomes the protector of the Enchanted Forest, who visits Arendelle since peace has been restored.
Through Olaf, Kristoff's love for Anna was made apparent, and during the climax of the film, after originally leaving the kingdom after their adventures came to a close, Anna realized Kristoff willingly returned for her sake, proving Olaf's words to be true.
After following the voice - with the subsequent events nearly destroying her kingdom - Elsa becomes the protector of the Enchanted Forest with Anna taking the throne of Queen of Arendelle and accepting Kristoff's marriage proposal.
The implication, and it's only ever just that, is that Elsa and Anna's mother is herself somehow attuned to the magical forces such that Elsa was given the gift of superpowers. (Why Anna never received such powers is equally vaguely defined: just as Elsa and Anna's father had no powers, so too would she be power-free.
Prince Hans as he betrays Anna. Prince Hans is the main antagonist of the 2013 Disney animated film Frozen and its 2015 tie-in novel A Frozen Heart, and an unseen minor antagonist in Frozen II. He is a young prince from the Southern Isles, who fell in love with Anna.
Not only is Anna marrying Kristoff, she has Olaf & Sven as well. We also saw at the end of Frozen 2 that their responsibilities are taking them somewhat of seperate ways, although not completely. It only makes sense that Elsa gains her own companion as well.
Although the sequel reveals how Elsa got her powers and offers insight into the mysterious death of her parents, Elsa does not get a girlfriend in the film.
Elysium is the first daughter of Elsa and Jack Frost, protagonists in Frozen and Rise of the Guardians. She is also a Princess of Arendelle and Junior Guardian of Winter. She is the older sister to Elise and is the first heir to the Throne of Arendelle.
