King Ghidorah (Kingu Gidora? ), also known as Monster Zero, Titanus Ghidorah, or simply Ghidorah, is a three-headed alien dragon daikaiju developed by Legendary Pictures and first mentioned in the 2017 film Kong: Skull Island.
Tanaka was enamored with the idea of Godzilla fighting a multi-headed serpent but considered seven or eight heads to be excessive, and thus the number of heads was reduced to three. The final version, designed by Akira Watanabe, was a three-headed dragon with large wings, two tails and of extraterrestrial origin.
