Even though she and Scott aren't engaged or married, Cassie views her as a second mom, further evidenced by Cassie casually calling Hank, “Grandpa Hank.” They're each other's family, and it's really wholesome to see.
Despite knowing full well the appeal of Luis, Reed tells THR there is no version of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania that features the character. The filmmaker justifies the decision by saying the threequel is already packed with characters and they decided early on not to get Luis in the mix.
Fuhrmann replaced Abby Ryder Fortson, who had played the daughter of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) in his first two cinematic outings as Ant-Man. The character was recast in Endgame due to the 5-year blip caused by Thanos' snap in order to better reflect the time-jump between Ant-Man and the Wasp and Endgame.
Hope's relationship with her father Hank Pym became distant after her mother Janet van Dyne was lost in a subatomic spacial void called the Quantum Realm. Instead of comforting his seven year old daughter, Pym became lost in his own grief and sent her away to boarding school.
They then began working on a way to retrieve her from the Quantum Realm, having been given hope that she was alive. Their ambitions succeeded, and she was freed from the Quantum Realm as an evolved human with superhuman powers, and she temporarily healed Ghost after reuniting with her family.
When Kang the Conqueror finally shows his face to Janet van Dyne and her family, he refers to Hope as "Jellybean." This affectionate term is usually only used by Janet when speaking to her daughter, but Kang's use of the nickname shows the bond that he made with Janet when he was first exiled to the Quantum Realm.
In the film when Scott returns back home he eats a cake which he says tastes awful. Now, this could simply be bad baking skills. However many fans have theorized that Scott didn't return to his version of Earth. That's why the cake tasted bad, because this is not his universe i.e. 616.
Evangeline Lily makes it clear that the Hope van Dyne we meet in this third film will be essentially a re-introduction of the character: "Well, she's a completely different person than when we first met her in the first Ant-Man film," Lily explained to Fandango's Erik Davis.

Not beating around to bush, Reed said that he chose to replace Cassie because he admired Newton as an actor, and wanted someone who could keep up with Paul Rudd. Meaning, he wanted someone as quick-witted and sharp as he is since Scott's daughter should take after him.
Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has two end-credits scenes, both of which have major implications for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 5.
