Teens/tweens are brutally killed, their bones snapped, eyes gouged out, eaten by monsters etc. There is a terrifying possession scene is season two and there is an exorcism scene that is very scary. In season four, a group of younger kids are killed in a horrific massacre.
Also, the violence and gore is limited, since it is made for television. If your kid is in their early teens or even just shy of being a teenager, there is nothing in this movie that they cannot handle. Just some violence and language is about the worst of it.
