Miguel O'Hara, also known as Spider-Man 2099, is a unique version of Spider-Man from Earth-928B. Unlike other Spider-Men, Miguel's personality underwent a significant change after failing to save an alternate reality, becoming cold, irritable, and obsessive.

Is Spider-Man 2099 Mexican?
Spider-Man 2099′s real identity is Miguel O'Hara, a young man who lives in Nueva York (the future name of New York). His mother, Conchata, is Mexican, and his father, George O'Hara, is Irish.
Miguel O'Hara never developed a spider-sense, though his vision and hearing were incredibly enhanced. Miguel O'Hara's eyes were physically transformed by the gene splicing accident.
Genetically imprinted with spider DNA, Miguel has superhuman strength (lifting 10 tons under optimal conditions), speed, stamina, reflexes and agility, and enhanced durability. He can jump up to 30 feet. He has enlarged canine teeth (fangs) which can secrete paralyzing venom.
Unlike other Spider-People, who were bitten by spiders, O'Hara put himself through a genetic engineering machine at Alchemax to rid himself of an addiction to Rapture, a highly addictive drug that genetically bonds to the user.
He is one of the first characters who would take up the Spider-Man mantle and serve the role as a heroical antagonist; albeit a heroic secondary antagonist.
Since Earth-1610's Miles Morales wasn't supposed to become Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Miguel may resent him for causing Earth-42's Peter Parker to miss on his powers similarly to how Miguel's experiment worked while his first test subject died.

Gabriella O'Hara was the daughter of Miguel O'Hara. After her father was murdered, Miguel O'Hara of Earth-928 took his counterpart's place. He briefly raised Gabriella, but despite the best efforts of the variant and Spider-Man, she and her universe were destroyed.
In Marvel 2099, "shock" is the general all-purpose swear word. Mojoverse natives Longshot and Shatterstar use the word "fekt". Rocket Raccoon tells a pair of Earth raccoons to "put on some krutacking pants".
But as it turns out, Miguel's “hatred” for Miles runs much deeper than Miles being a bit of a rule-breaker. Miguel explains that Miles is an anomaly, which makes it that much harder for Miguel to protect the fabric of the multiverse.
