Miss Martian (real name M'gann M'orzz, alias Megan Morse) is a Martian and a member of the Team. She is the niece and former protégé of the Martian Manhunter.
As an adult, J'onn became a Manhunter (police officer) and married a Martian woman named M'yri'ah. The two established a modest home for themselves beneath the windswept Martian plains and gave birth to a daughter named K'hym.
He grew up on an animal sanctuary in Qurac, with his mother. After an accident Miss Martian was forced to give him a blood transfusion which resulted in him gaining the ability to shape-shift into any animal. After the death of his mother, Beast Boy is now under the care of Miss Martian, who he addresses as his sister.
As an adult in the Titans of Tomorrow... Today! storyline, M'gann's default physical form is that of a White Martian having embraced her heritage (and Martian physiology reflecting their state of mind). To compensate for her pyrophobia, adult M'Gann wears a forcefield that protects her from flame.
