He is a multiversal entity of pure evil, that was fragmented into a lesser form after the Final Crisis. Darkseid's "True Form" or "Godhead" was eventually reconstituted, combining of all of Darkseid's lesser forms, making all of his past aspects become one.
He can easily destroy colossal objects, overpower far stronger characters especially cosmic beings, has the capability to bend and break any man-made material, lift massive objects, and easily demolish immensely fortified infrastructures.
Avatar: Darkseid revealed he is an avatar of his true omnipotent self, when he was talking to Anarky. This is due to the fact that the New Gods are unique and don't have alternative versions through the Multiverse, but only one "true" New God exists for an infinite number of universes.
There have been several versions of Hyperion over the years, but the most formidable is the one who joined the Avengers and helped them battle against threats like Thanos and the Beyonders. That Hyperion would be able to defeat Darkseid. Hyperion's power is even greater than Thor's, and he's just as skilled a fighter.
Darkseid would try to take the Dark Dimension away from Dormammu, sending his forces there to be slaughtered. Eventually, he would lead the charge himself, and Dormammu would destroy the God of Evil, as he has the homefield advantage.
STRENGTH: Darkseid was stronger, but Odin could boost his strength with Odinforce to make it equal. DURABILITY: Its basically equal. INTELLIGENCE: Darkseid is smarter over all, but Odin is a god of wisdom and battle so DS advantage didn't really help him much.
The Omega Sanction allows him to throw victims back and then forward in time, building up Omega radiation and transforming them into bombs that can destroy universes. With powers like these, it will be nigh impossible for even the most powerful beings to survive Darkseid.
Usually, Darkseid is capable of beating down Superman in a fight, but it's often depicted as a close one-on-one fight that tests both to their limits. Here, Darkseid attacks as a genuine God of Evil, beating two versions of Clark Kent without breaking a swear.
Just looking at the numbers, Darkseid would win. His Omega Beams wipe out anything they hit from existance, or in the case of Batman send that person back in time.
At one point in time, both Darkseid and Orion became one with the Source when they entered it and gained its omnipotent powers. Becomes omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent.
Summary. Batman defeats Darkseid with just a pair of goggles, which completely depower Darkseid. Batman plans to go back in time by controlling Darkseid using a baby version of him and the Omega Effect. The Godwave Goggles negate Darkseid's Omega Effect, making him significantly less powerful.
During the "Infinite Frontier" era as a result of the Multiverse being expanded into an Omniverse, Darkseid is trapped in Earth-Omega. He regained his original form by fusing with all his various selves across the multiverse, whom he declares are all lesser Darkseid.
Cosmic Awareness: Zeus is aware of the multiverse and the realms that lie beyond. This knowledge gives him an understanding of the universe and all life that transcends the capabilities of normal mortals. Dimensional Travel: Zeus is able to travel between Mount Olympus and Earth at will.
While Superman is famously vulnerable to kryptonite, even that radioactive material doesn't have anything on the New Gods' radion - a substance that can even kill Darkseid.

Weaknesses. Vulnerability to Radion: Darkseid and all of the New Gods are vulnerable to a substance called Radion. Its source is unknown and its effects are toxic only in sustained amounts or after explosive exposure. The average New God can be slain by an application of Radion from a Radion blaster or bomb.
Both attacks pale in comparison to the omega beams. This should lead us to believe Darkseid can easily blast through mjolnir. The only defence I see is most of the times mjolnir's been damaged or destroyed, it was against magically imbued opponents.
He has superhuman speed and strength, and once fought Zeus to a standstill. Thor would certainly be thwarted by Darkseid. This fearsome villain would be able to drain the lifeforce from him, and even his godly weaponry doesn't seem like it could withstand Darkseid's Omega Beams.
While Manhattan can transform things using the laws of physics, Darkseid transcends those laws. In Doomsday Clock, Manhattan feared Superman would destroy him. If Superman possessed this power in the main DC Comics continuity, surely Darkseid, in his strongest form, would be powerful enough to destroy Dr.
The Avengers would win, only if they were fighting together (Thor, Wanda, Strange, Danvers, Vision, etc) seeing that it took Atlantians, Amazonians and Zeus and Ares at their most mature form to defeat him.
If it's an emanation of Darkseid (basically nearly every version of Darkseid in the multiverse, dark multiverse, and little bit beyond) I'd say Trigon is more powerful on average but there are at least a few emanations that could rival him if not possibly surpass him.
