Brian abused Bruce and his mother, Rebecca, before he ultimately murdered his wife as she tried to escape from him. That trauma shook Bruce so deeply that it led him to develop alter identities as the Hulk.
Brian Banner believed that his son Bruce would become a metahuman monster created through the radiation that he experimented with, and attempted to kill him in fear and paranoia. He murdered his wife, Rebecca, when she tried to stop him from killing their son.
Bruce Banner was raised by a loving mother but also by an abusive father in the Marvel comics. Brian Banner hated Bruce thanks to a twisted sense of jealousy over Rebecca, Bruce's mom, but also due to believing Bruce was a mutant.
Living with Bruce caused Brian's delusions to begin again and, on the anniversary of Rebecca's death, Brian and Bruce engaged in a verbal and later physical fight at Rebecca's grave on a stormy night. During the fight, Bruce accidentally killed Brian by knocking him headfirst into Rebecca's headstone.
Instantly hateful of the young Bruce, who he believed to be a monster created from the radiation he was exposed to and the "monster gene", Brian ignored him completely and attempted to keep Rebecca away from him, leaving Bruce in the care of the neglectful Nurse Meachum.

Is Hulk afraid of his father?
The Hulk has always feared the elder Banner. The Joe Fixit personality killed Brian when Bruce was in college. Hulk still developed the ability to see ghosts and astral projections because he feared him returning from the grave.

The issue of abuse became especially important when it was revealed that Bruce Banner's cruel father had influenced his angry alter-ego, the Hulk. As a result, the Hulk would become enraged when confronted by the victimization of others as it reminded him of his own trauma and feelings of powerlessness.
However, part of what allows Hulk to be forgiven for the massive destruction he causes is the shockingly small death toll of his frequent rampages. In fact, according to Marvel lore, Hulk has never directly killed an innocent, whether battling the military or tearing down Avengers tower.
The soft-spoken scientist's blood is infused with gamma radiation, allowing him to transform between being a human and being a ferocious green machine. However, it's possible that the gamma radiation in his blood also prevents him from being able to have a child with someone.
But as seen in the landmark INCREDIBLE HULK (1968) #312, Brian became deeply disturbed and obsessed with the idea that his radiation research had turned his son, Bruce, into a monster. He's inherited his father's gamma-powered strength and healing. Though, unlike Hulk, Skaar doesn't get stronger as he grows angrier. Skaar also shares his mother's ability to tap into the Old Power, which allows him to draw energy from a planet's tectonic plates and even control volcanos.
Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner (Hulk), is the small and somewhat shy daughter of Los Angeles County Sheriff William Morris Walters and Elaine (née Banner) Walters (who died in a car crash when Jennifer was 17).
He is a darker and irredeemably evil alternative version of the mainstream Hulk, who is usually only seen as occasionally villainous. He is also the founder, leader and father of the Hulk Gang, a group of hillbilly thugs resulting from Hulk impregnating his first cousin She-Hulk, and Wolverine's archenemy.
Fictional character biography. Skaar is the son of the Hulk/Bruce Banner and Caiera the Oldstrong, an extraterrestrial native of the planet Sakaar. He was conceived during the Hulk's time on Caiera's home planet of Sakaar.
A year later, Skaar was introduced to the canon, mainstream Marvel universe in World War Hulk #5, after which he starred in his own 12-issue series called Skaar: Son of Hulk. As Hulk's son, Skaar has superhuman strength, durability, endurance, and a healing factor.
When Walters came to help Banner, his gamma-irradiated blood got into Walters' open wound. This caused her to be exposed to lethal amounts of gamma radiation thus turning her into a Hulk.
So in our terms, it is safe to estimate that Bruce Banner's IQ is at least a 160 or higher. Hard to say as it depends upon when (in time with respect to the comics, TV show, movies and MCU [movies and MCU are not the same]) and which Bruce Banner (actor portrayal, script, comics and MCU [new canon]).
