There is a lot of bullying, peer pressuring, eating disorder behavior, inappropriate boundaries with coach, drug use, lots of alcohol use (its weird to see Beth NOT drinking...), casual sex, and sex with minors (the girls might be seniors, but still could be 17).
If you want to watch a horror movie with 'truth or dare' as a plot, make sure it isn't this one. Not only is the plot as old as the game itself, but it is nonsensical. Lazy writers just use every gory trick in the book, and none very well.
This is an adult movie, not even a teen movie. There is just a lot of sex, use of bad language, violence, drugs, drinking, smoking, and meaningless stuff.
Parents need to know that Dare Me is a dramatic thriller about the lengths competitive cheerleaders from an Ohio high school will go to get what they want. This mature series features lots of edgy content, ranging from murder to strong sexual content, including simulated sex acts.
