Producer and director M. Night Shyamalan and producers Marc Bienstock and Jason Blum's (2016) latest film, Split, is a horror thriller where the main character Kevin, played by James McAvoy, suffers from dissociative identity disorder (DID) and kidnaps three teenage girls.
Dr. Fletcher awakens long enough to write out Kevin's full name on a piece of paper before "The Beast" returns and kills her. "The Beast" then attacks and devours Claire and Marcia.
Kevin as "Dennis" knocked out Mr. Benoit and kidnapped three teenage girls, Casey Cooke, Claire Benoit, and Marcia, knocking them out with chloroform before taking them in an underground bunker of the Philadelphia Zoo, intending to use them as food for "The Beast".
Kevin's mother was horribly abusive towards him and would beat him constantly over the slightest of things. She was also a bit of a clean freak and demand that kevin clean the house to her ridiculous standards, and if he didn't do it as good as she wanted it, another beating.
Kevin's mother was emotionally, verbally, physically, and mentally abusive towards him [1]. This abuse created a hostile and unsafe environment for Kevin, leading to further psychological distress.
When Dennis takes one victim (Sula) into a private room, Casey whispers to the girl to “pee on yourself” as a defensive strategy. Given Dennis's germaphobia, the ploy works, although it soon becomes evident that sex slavery is not on the table.
Why DID Casey tell Marcia to pee on herself in Split?
The three girls awakened in a room of a secretive house. Dennis enters into the room and took Marcia, not before Casey told her to "pee on yourself" to ensure she is not hurt by him.
Some of Kevin's other personalities have been “banned from the light” for being bad. One of these is Dennis, who likes to watch underage girls dance nude.
Due to being abused while she was young, she has become emotionally withdrawn because of her uncle, who was sexually and physically abusive towards her. Her life was turned upside Down again after she was taken - alongside Claire Benoit and Marcia - by Kevin's 'Dennis' personality.
"The Beast", who displays enhanced strength and animalistic tendencies, returns to his lair, thanks Dr. Fletcher for her help, and crushes her to death. He savagely feeds upon and kills Claire and Marcia before approaching Casey, but she calls out Kevin's full name, which brings forth his original personality.
So split is about a man called Kevin who has 25 different personalities . One that's a old woman one that's a strict man named Dennis and one that's a 9 year old boy that likes to listen to Kanye West ,ect. John grooming Casey for sexual abuse. John Cooke is the secondary antagonist of the 2016 horror-thriller film Split, the second installment in the Eastrail 177 film trilogy. He is the sexually abusive uncle of protagonist Casey Cooke.

At the end of that movie, the Beast lets Casey, one of the teenagers he has kidnapped, go—all because she has suffered sexual abuse throughout her life. (He only eats innocent girls who have never suffered.) The villain distills the movie's philosophy in one creepy line: “Rejoice! The broken are more evolved.”
To avoid his mother's abuse, Kevin began to develop multiple personalities as a defense mechanism. Dennis, the protector alter with obsessive-compulsive cleaning habits, was a direct result of his trauma. Kevin ultimately developed 23 individual personalities, each of which are able to take control.
So the Beast does indeed emerge – McAvoy becomes ultra strong, his skin gets super hard, he gains the ability to climb impossible walls (somewhat unconvincingly) and his voice gets even creepier. And he does indeed completely eviscerate and eat two of the girls.
Three girls are kidnapped by a man with a diagnosed 23 distinct personalities. They must try to escape before the apparent emergence of a frightful new 24th.
Casey's overriding care for her former captor may come across as Stockholm syndrome, but it's more rooted in their shared recognition of a tortured past; Casey was sexually abused by her uncle and Kevin was repeatedly assaulted by his mother.
But how? The film never specifies, but one fan theory from a few years ago, which recently resurfaced on TikTok, might have the answer: Obviously, Kevin's dad is a gangster. If true, the theory would explain the massive home, the wads of cash, and the Burberry coats.
“Home Alone” never revealed what the family did for a living but it was assumed that Kate McCallister worked in fashion since the house had mannequins. Kevin's dad was a businessman because it was “a safe bet,” Todd Strasser, who wrote the official novelizations of “Home Alone” said, according to the Times.
