After Tarzan rescued Jane Porter from baboons and left with his gorilla family, she told her story to Clayton and her father, but Clayton did not believe her and found the existence of an "ape man" to be ridiculous.
Soon after, Professor Porter and Clayton, who had been looking for Jane, arrive. Jane tells them about seeing gorillas as well as Tarzan the Ape Man rescuing her from the baboons.
Tarzan falls in love with Jane from the first time he sees her, and when she returns to America, Tarzan also travels to find her and tell her that he loves her. Jane does not die in Tarzan of the Apes or any of the book's sequels. She marries Tarzan, and they live happily ever after.

Does Jane get pregnant in Tarzan?

A plane flying to Cape Town, carrying a young couple and their baby, crashes in the jungle. Everyone on the plane dies, except for the baby who is rescued by Cheeta, Tarzan's chimpanzee. Tarzan and Jane adopt the child and name him "Boy".
