Trivia. The Oz Experiment Arachnid No. 42, the spider which bit Miles Morales in Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #1 had a 42 on it representing its experiment number. On Earth-1610B, the number on the back of the spider that bites Miles Morales represents that it's from Earth-42.
The spider that bit Miles was pulled into his dimension by the Alchemax particle collider at the start of Into the Spider-Verse. We don't really learn more about it until Across the Spider-Verse. The spider was brought here as part of the particle collider experiment and was labeled with the universe it came from: 42.

Why is the number 42 important?
The number 42 is, in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, the "Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything", calculated by an enormous supercomputer named Deep Thought over a period of 7.5 million years. Unfortunately, no one knows what the question is.
A radioactive spider bit (the film's primary) Miles' in his home dimension of Earth-1610. But that DNA-altering arachnid came from Earth-42 via Kingpin's Super Collider. That spider—seen glitching prior to biting Miles in Into the Spider-Verse—wasn't from his world. That's why Miguel O'Hara calls Miles “the” anomaly.
According to the official Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse artbook, Miles G. Morales isn't technically a villain but more so a vigilante. This is further proven with J. Jonah Jameson speaking on TV mentioning vigilante.
