The most obvious distinction between an avatar and a genuine Na'vi is the number of fingers and toes. A Na'vi only has four digits, while the avatar body has five due to the human DNA. At the end of Avatar, Jake decides to transfer his consciousness to his avatar body permanently.
The fossil record suggests that as these digits evolved accompanying bones and joints allowing more sophisticated use, their number reduced to no more than five. Subsequent evolution never increased this number. In fact, many later animals have reduced the number still further when five weren't needed.

Who is Kiris' dad?
Her father is not a father, her father is another mother, Eywa, the Great Mother, the sentient life force of Pandora itself that exists in all things there, but is rarely understood. So essentially yes, Kiri was born from Eywa just like Anakin Skywalker was allegedly conceived by the Force itself and its midichlorians.
Lo'ak and Kiri are 14 years old in Avatar: The Way of Water, while Tuk is only eight. So, it sounds as if the fourth movie will open with Lo'ak, Tuk, and Kiri at the same ages they are in the third installment, and then they will age six years following the time jump.
