Once down in the bowels of the town, the Losers encircle an engraved leather vessel, and chant “Turn light into dark” until the pure rotten energy that forms the core of the demonic Pennywise—three orbs of light called the “Deadlights”—are sucked into the vessel, which the Losers then try to close.
That means that when he takes a child, he makes them float by forcing them to look into his mouth, which contains orange lights called deadlights. These lights drive humans insane by looking at them, and somehow, they float in midair.
When "It" is about to eat Beverly, she displays fearlessness to which Pennywise said it was ok and that he knew what would make her scared. He then proceeds to open his mouth hella wide and reveals 3 small lights inside of him.
Stephen King's IT introduced readers to a one-of-a-kind creature that can take any form, the most common one being Pennywise the Dancing Clown, and as menacing as it is, this creature has one big enemy it's truly scared of: Maturin, the turtle.

Being such a powerful being, Pennywise clearly sensed that the yellow coloring was unsettling to Georgie, so he changed his eyes to blue on the fly as a way to make Georgie associate him with family and safety. This made Georgie all the easier to lure in to his bloody demise.
In It (2017), Pennywise changes the colour of his eyes from yellow to blue, which are the same colour as Bill's, to lure Georgie. "There were yellow eyes in there: the sort of eyes he had always imagined but never actually seen down in the basement.
He is also a form that Pennywise/IT uses to frighten Beverly since he is what she fears the most. It is also implied (and confirmed in the 2017 film) that he sexually abuses his own daughter. He was portrayed by Frank C. Turner in the miniseries, and Stephen Bogaert in the 2017 film.
Marsh and Beverly occurs in the novel, King makes it clear that Bev's father is actually possessed by It. It takes the shape of whatever its target fears the most, so Mr. Marsh is used as a conduit to embody Beverly's worst fears of abuse.
A common interpretation of this phrase is that it refers to where the souls of IT's victims go after they die, as they wouldn't go to heaven nor hell, staying instead in the “deadlights”, which would be a sort of limbo, thus “floating” in that middle point for eternity.
While playing Pennywise in IT and IT Chapter Two, Bill Skarsgard wears a set of prosthetic teeth, for times when the dancing clown really needs to show off his razor-sharp chompers. The problem is, these teeth caused Skarsgard to drool, and not just a little. The teeth caused full-on torrents of slobber from the actor.
Unfortunately, Eddie is a victim of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy with his own mother as the abuser. This means Mrs. Kaspbrak has been faking all of Eddie's illnesses in order to have unlimited control over him. Even his asthma inhaler is a placebo or "gazeebo" as the 2017 version of Eddie so hilariously puts it.

Anyone who read the book IT by Stephen King would know that Beverly Marsh's mother, Elfrida, passed away from cancer. However, in the 1990 miniseries and 2017 film, there is absolutely no mention of her mother.
IT arrived on Earth through an event similar to an asteroid impact, landing in what would later become Derry, Maine. Once there, IT adopted its usual pattern of hibernation that lasted between 27 and 30 years, awakening to kill and eat and then going back to sleep.
Pennywise had targeted Georgie when the boy was too young to know any better or fight back. In the clown's most contemptible murders, Pennywise did not rely on visions or fears to lure Georgie in; instead, Pennywise exploited Georgie's trust and turned it into a fatal weakness.
The Losers confront It about how they have overcome their fears, and are no longer scared of the entity, causing It to shrink to a small weakened Pennywise.
