In the end-credits scenes, we also see Immortus, a different Variant of Kang. After his conquest plans are thwarted repeatedly, Kang decides to go back to Ancient Egypt after his younger self has already left the place. This time, Kang rules honorably and, in doing so, finds the purpose he was always lacking.
Kang's mistreatment of MODOK comes back to bite him, as Cassie convinces the deformed Darren Cross to revolt, ending in a heroic sacrifice. With Kang assumed dead, the heroes escape from the Quantum Realm through a portal, but upon Kang's return, Scott Lang stays behind to fight, ensuring their mutual destruction.
Kang is sucked into the probability field of the energy source, supposedly dying, and the portal back to Earth is closed. It seems like Scott and Hope are trapped inside the Quantum Realm, a heavy price to pay for their victory.
In the scene, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) are seen watching Kang give a presentation onstage, in what appears to be the early or mid 1800s.

Who were the three Kangs at the end of Ant-Man?
In Quantumania, the Council of Kangs looks to be governed by three distinctive versions of Kang: Rama-Tut (the Egyptian Pharaoh), Immortus (the older, bearded version), and the Scarlet Centurion.
It is possible that Marvel altered Quantumania's ending to set up future MCU projects. In fact, not long before the reshoots began, a reliable plot leak offered a very different ending than the one that audiences eventually saw in theaters.
What did Kang mean when he said something bad is coming?
Kang spends the entire movie trying to get out, and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and his family try to keep Kang trapped. In the final fight, Kang says that he knows how the multiverse ends and if he does not reach the surface world, something terrible will happen.
He warns Scott Lang that he's the only one who can "stop what's coming," e.g. the other Kang variants. So might he have been seeking to become the one true Kang, killing all the other versions of himself to stop them from messing with the multiverse and restoring a single timeline where he's in charge?
To recap, at the end of Quantumania, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) successfully beat Kang … or so they think. But as can be seen in the post-credit scenes, getting rid of one Kang doesn't exactly fix the problem.
Kang isn't physically stronger than Thanos, and if the two were to square up in a one-vs-one fight then the Titan would arguably win. However, Kang's knowledge of the multiverse means that would quite literally be several steps ahead of Thanos at all times. As a result, Kang wins this battle.
Disabling his suit could potentially strip him of his technological powers and weaken him. Ant-Man has already shown the ability to sabotage technologically-advanced suits like he did with Falcon and Iron Man in previous movies. This could be a key advantage in defeating Kang.
In Marvel Comics, the most dangerous version of Kang is none other than Immortus. Introduced in Avengers #10, Immortus represents a later point in Kang's timeline. After years of orchestrating all sorts of time travel shenanigans, the 31st-century time traveler rebranded himself as Immortus.
“In the end, with its clumsy collision of influences, star power, CGI that is often rubbery or outright ugly, and a convoluted plot that should have an Excedrin tie-in, 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' is like a child's mixed media project, made of paper mache, glitter, and hunks of rotting ground meat,” she said.
Kang is his own worst enemy, constantly trying to prevent the future or undo the past. By doing so, he inadvertently creates variants of himself who sometimes hinder his world-conquering goals.
Kang the Conqueror was exiled to the MCU Quantum Realm by his own variants in the Council of Kangs due to his attempts to eradicate them and become the sole Kang in the multiverse.
However, their adventure gave Kang the insight he needed to determine that Conan was far too dangerous to be left alive, not to mention the impetus to take action against the perceived threat at hand.
Upon hearing that Scott is an Avenger, the villain remarked, "you're an Avenger… have I killed you before? They all blur together after a while." This line comes with the obvious implication that countless Avengers have been killed by Kang at this point.
Prior to his appearance in Quantumania, though, Majors made his MCU debut in the Season 1 finale of Loki, playing one (of many) variants of his villain Kang the Conqueror named He Who Remains.
