Following the death of Catherine, his baby son was captive in the clutches of Gabriel prompting him to take down Gabriel's operations. He does end up surrendering to Gabriel when he hears that his son is ill. This leads up to a rescue mission by Diana and the rest of the "World Below".
During the season, Vincent and Cat briefly break up with each other, due to Vincent having changed so much because of Muirfield wiping his memory. Cat starts a relationship with Gabe, a previous beast, now turned ally, while Vincent starts to date Tori, a wealthy socialite who has discovered that she is also a Beast.
Eddie tries to escape, but is confronted by Catherine, who shoots and kills him. Afterwards, she & Gabe try to revive him using a defibrillator, hoping the effect will get rid of his beast DNA. The plan fails, and Eddie dies.

The true ending is very similar to the good ending. Vincent will marry Catherine and move to the Underworld, but there will be an additional scene where Vincent becomes a demon as well. As a demon, he overthrows Nergal and takes over the throne with a group of succubi surrounding him.
Tori ultimately died trying to win Vincent back; with her last breath, she encouraged Vincent's love for Catherine. Vincent was guilt-ridden afterwards and realized that Tori was right β though he cared about Tori, he was still in love with Catherine.
Vincent recognizes her as the girl he saved nine years before. Eventually, Catherine comes back later on her own, and finds Vincent. He begs her not to tell anyone he's alive, and she leaves, but is intent on getting answers when she sees an article about her mom's death in his belongings.
