After the park closed, Claire founded the Dinosaur Protection Group to organize a rescue mission to save the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar from Mount Sibo's impending eruption that threatens to kill the remaining dinos. She is betrayed by Eli Mills and left to die on the island after he got what he wanted: Blue.
Four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, several Dilophosaurus were present in a sanctuary created by BioSyn. Three of them attempted to kill Claire Dearing before being frightened off by Owen Grady and Kayla Watts.

In Jurassic World Dominion, Claire continually calls Maisie her daughter, despite Maisie angrily stating that Claire isn't her real mother. Many characters refer to Claire and Owen as Maisie's parents. Owen also tells Claire, before he ejects her from the plane, that she is Maisie's mother, and so she has to find her.
