Stick soon attempted to assassinate Black Sky, but was stopped by Daredevil once he realized that the Black Sky was a child. Yoshioka was able to escape with the Black Sky, but Stick followed the van they were traveling in and managed to kill Black Sky by piercing his heart with an arrow before escaping himself.
In “Daredevil,” the Black Sky is treated as an almost religious figure that The Hand worships, and many in the organization seem to think the person who becomes the Black Sky will lead them. The Hand first tries to turn a child into the Black Sky, but Matt's mentor, Stick (Scott Glenn), kills the kid.
During his battle with Daredevil, Yoshioka almost had victory against his enemy before he was outwitted and burned alive. Yoshioka was then resurrected a few months later and he attacked New York City with all of his loyal Hand followers.
To prove her worth to Stick, leader of the Chaste, Elektra planned to infiltrate the Hand and destroy them from within. Instead, she was tricked by the Hand into killing her former sensei. Taking advantage of Elektra's fragile psyche, the Hand turned her to their dark ways.
The Hand seems to worship the Black Sky in the same way their comic book counterpart worships the Beast, a powerful demon that teaches them the ability to resurrect deceased individuals.
Later, she was revealed to potentially be the Black Sky, the one who is supposed to lead the Hand. However, Elektra chose to help Murdock defeat the malevolent organization and was killed in the final fight with Nobu Yoshioka.
Daredevil season 3's FBI Special Agent Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter is the man who eventually becomes one of Daredevil's most ferocious foes, Bullseye, in the comics. The MCU/Netflix version is a sociopathic FBI agent who gradually falls under Wilson Fisk's influence.
What happens to Poindexter at the end of Daredevil?
Upon learning from Daredevil that he was being manipulated, Poindexter crashes the wedding reception of Fisk and Vanessa to seek revenge. He subsequently fights Daredevil and the Kingpin before Poindexter is defeated with the breaking of his back in the process.
In flashbacks, it is revealed that Elektra is the Black Sky, a living weapon worshipped and coveted by the Hand. After disagreeing with Star (portrayed by Laurence Mason) over Elektra's future, Stick kills him to protect Elektra and flees with her.
The main character, Matt Murdock (Daredevil), became blind after an incident involving a chemical spill when he was a child. The accident gave him superhuman senses and the ability to navigate the world in a different way.
Bullseye, seeking to regain his position as the Kingpin's chief assassin, ambushed Elektra. After a brutal fight, Bullseye impaled Elektra on one of her own sais. Mortally wounded, Elektra crawled to Matt's apartment and died in her former lover's arms.
However, Stick eventually abandoned his protégé after seeing Matt's inherent goodness as a sign of weakness. More than a decade later, Matt became a student at Columbia University Law School. There he met and became best friends with his roommate Franklin “Foggy” Nelson.
Powers. Longevity: Gao, like Alexandra, Sowande, Bakuto and Murakami, has lived long past her original life span through the Hand's mysterious ability to grant immortality to people who are dead, which seemingly also has something to do with her connection to her home of K'un L'un.
The most common (and most likely) theory is that she is actually the Crane Mother, who in the comics was the leader of one of the other Capital Cities of Heaven and an enemy of Danny Rand's.
Fisk pays Turk Barrett to reveal to Vladimir that Fisk killed Anatoly, and as they prepare for a war against Fisk, their forces are destroyed in a suicide attack by Gao's workers. Vladimir survives, but Murdock finds him, as they are surrounded by police.
Mental Illness: Dex was diagnosed at a young age with Borderline Personality Disorder and psychopathic tendencies, which constantly affect his attitude and make his mood and actions unpredictable and often dangerous.
Bullseye himself has stated that he killed his own mother. He also killed Elektra, Daredevil's partner, and lover, with her own sai. However, she was later revived by The Hand. Although primarily a Daredevil villain, Bullseye has battled Spider-Man, Deadpool, The Punisher, and the X-Men's Archangel.
Daredevil's relationships tend to end in tragedy. His first real love interest was Karen Page, the secretary at his law firm. While their relationship had its ups and downs, Karen was tragically killed by Bullseye, who also killed another one of his girlfriends, the lethal assassin Elektra.
For a time, Matt engages in a romantic relationship with fellow costumed adventurer Natasha Romanoff, AKA Black Widow. The two remain close friends. Another romantic entanglement of Matt's, his secretary Karen Page, also holds an important spot in his heart.
Nineteen years after starring as Elektra in the 2005 Daredevil spinoff, Jennifer Garner is returning to the role. On Friday, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Garner will be playing the beloved superhero character in Deadpool 3, which is set to premiere in 2024.
