The final dying request of Crazy Horse is for the Kingpin to raise Maya well, and he leaves a bloody handprint on Maya's cheek. Treating her as his daughter, Kingpin carries out his final request.
William Lopez was a commander of the Tracksuit Mafia, the brother of Henry Lopez and the father of Maya Lopez. When Taloa Lopez died, William was disowned by his family and moved to New York. He was then murdered by Ronin acting on a tip from Kingpin.
Summary. Early reactions say Echo is one of Marvel's best Disney+ offerings with breathless fight scenes and a stunningly unique voice. Echo does some unexpected things and fits into the old Daredevil universe, while it is exciting to see Wilson Fisk and Daredevil back.

At the end of the series, Sami finds out that Rambo, a thief who was in the park at the time of Joe's death, saw Maya shoot Joe. Maya had killed Joe after finding out the truth about Claire's death. She told her husband to meet her at their spot in the park, pressed him about what he did, then shot him.
How did Maya find out Joe killed Claire? Maya had discovered the bullet which took the life of sister Claire (Natalie Anderson) had come from the same gun only she and her husband had access to. And after confronting him in the park, she learned Joe would quite happily kill his own wife in cold blood, as well.
In truth, Echo survived without the knowledge of the Republic, although he was severely injured, sustaining wounds that cost him his right arm and legs while his neural and respiratory systems were damaged. Echo was subsequently unable to resist the Separatist capture that followed.
In their experimentation, the Separatists had stripped away Echo's humanity and tried to turn him into a machine. Echo was eventually able to lead a strike team behind enemy lines to help secure the base at Anaxes and prove that he was still loyal to the Republic and his brothers.
(**) In the comics, she's called Echo because she has the ability to literally copy the movements and actions of any non-superhuman. Had the MCU version stuck with this, she could fight as well as Shang-Chi, shoot arrows as well as both Hawkeyes, etc.
Echo concludes with a showdown between Maya and her surrogate father, Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), and instead of avenging her biological father's (Zahn McClarnon) murder, she used her powers to access the treacherous crime lord's mind in hopes of healing the childhood trauma that made him who he is today ...
