Court case. Disney and Pixar won a legal case on November, 30, 2010, brought by stock car driver Mark Brill, who alleged that the design of Lightning McQueen misappropriated his own car. The Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals upheld the lower court judgement based on the Vanna White v. Robot-With-A-Blond-Whig case.
The Courthouse & Fire Department is the town's most significant building, the first to be designed and constructed in Radiator Springs. In Cars, here McQueen was accused in that building for vandalism, breaking up the road. As punishment, he was ordered by Doc Hudson to pave the road with Bessie.
Lightning ends up lost in a little ghost-town called Radiator Springs and after tearing up their main road, he is sentenced to community service to repair the road. While he is in town, he meets a selection of cars, most notably being Doc Hudson and Sally Carrera.

Sally Carrera (or simply known as "Sally", now known as Sally McQueen) is the tritagonist in Cars and a supporting character in Cars 2 and a main character in Carasodes.
