Still Alice is an enlightening movie which explores the harsh reality of a person from both the physical and emotional effects of Alzheimer's disease. Julianne Moore plays the role of Alice who is an acclaimed linguistics professor at Columbia University.
Once Alice reaches Victory headquarters, she sees a vision of Jack who tells her to stay in Victory and to be with him. She doesn't listen and instead touches the glass that presumably teleports her consciousness back into her real-world body.
Alice starts talking to herself again, trying to solve the puzzle of who she has become. She thinks of all the children she knows, but doesn't think she has become any of them. Alice's self-consciousness about her size and her self comes out here.
An enjoyable film with an unusual storyline. Good acting by a cast I'm not familiar with and it's an easy watch with some interesting twists. A solid 7 in my book.

In the final scene of Still Alice, Alice's daughter reads her a passage from Tony Kushner's Angels in America: "Nothing's lost forever. In this world, there's a kind of painful progress. Longing for what we've left behind, and dreaming ahead."
