Pausing new Magic Key sales was a business decision made by Disney before the results of the lawsuit settlement were released, according to Disneyland officials.
Disneyland® Resort Magic Key passes are a limited license to enter Disneyland® Resort's theme parks. In a recent update posted to the Disney Parks Blog, the Disneyland Resort announced it will make select Magic Key passes available for new sales from time to time throughout 2023 as pass inventory becomes available. So, there is a chance you may be able to purchase a new Enchant Magic Key in the future.
Pass sales were opened to all guests for about a day in November 2022 before being paused again, and then resuming in January of 2023. Sales of new Magic Keys were again suspended on September 8, 2023; at this time, all four tiers are available for renewal only.
