Avatar: The Way of Water greatly expanded the world of the alien planet of Pandora (technically, it's an extrasolar moon) and its native inhabitants, the Na'vi.
In the Q&A with Jon Landau, the producer revealed that Avatar 3 will introduce two new Na'vi cultures. Landau explained, "We're going to meet at least two new clans in the next movie," Landau said. Likely one of these new cultures will be the fire Na'vi, of which Oona Chaplin's Varang will be a part.
The third installment will introduce at least two new Na'vi cultures and likely Pandora biomes, with each culture adapting to a different type of environment and building their customs around their homes.
