Marvel fans will finally get to see Hugh Jackman don Wolverine's classic yellow suit, thanks to Deadpool 3. Jackman and his costar Ryan Reynolds both shared a first look at themselves back in character as the adamantium-clawed mutant and the Merc with the Mouth for the film.
Following this logic, they could simply say "Deadpool 3" takes place just before Professor X's seizure killed hundreds of people, and that's why Wolverine is here alongside other characters. This tracks with what Hugh Jackman himself has said in the past.
And no surprise, Deadpool 3 has opted to give Wolverine his bright yellow (and blue) suit, a costume pulled straight from the pages of Marvel Comics.
