Nicholas Joseph Fury was born in Huntsville, Alabama on July 4, 1950. He joined the United States Army after graduating from high school, eventually becoming a Colonel. He later left the army to join the Central Intelligence Agency, where he served as a spy during the Cold War.

Where was Nick Fury before Secret Invasion?
The former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. who has been working with the Skrulls in space for years before returning to Earth. Fury has been away from Earth so long in part because he is worn out and uncertain of his place in the world following the events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
New Skrullos. Creating a new home for the Skrulls with New Skrullos, the Skrull Council decided that they should only drink and eat foods of the Skrull people. This included various Skrull produce along with Skrull wine. Skrull wine was offered by G'iah to Beto when he first arrived at New Skrullos.
Hawkeye-First to be recruited by Nick Fury to work for SHIELD(founded in the 50s), and later the Avengers; Based on Renner being 50, I'll assume Hawkeye was around 20-30, when he joined SHIELD, possibly in the late 90s, after the Capt. Marvel stuff.
As explained in ULTIMATE X-MEN (2001) #11, Ultimate Fury was transporting Weapon X through Kuwait when their convoy was ambushed. He lost his left eye in the explosion but was ultimately saved by the man who would become Wolverine. And, he's worn the eyepatch ever since!

It is eventually revealed that he takes a special medication called the Infinity Formula that halted his aging and allows him to be active despite being nearly a century old, later leading to him becoming The Unseen, herald of Uatu the Watcher, and forming a new team of Exiles.
Infinity Formula: Nick Fury's aging had been slowed greatly by the Infinity Formula, a serum created by Dr. Berthold Sternberg. Fury was first inoculated with the serum in the 1940's. Fury took the serum annually for many years.

But when Pierce, secretly a Hydra leader, ordered Fury killed, the S.H.I.E.L.D. director gave Captain America the data and then faked his own death to go deep undercover.
